45th Anniversary Ohio Getaway Packages

Atwood Lodge, located on the shores of Atwood Lake in western Carroll County (a short drive from I-77 south of Canton), is offering celebration resort getaway packages until October 2010. The packages are a way to thank Atwood's repeat guests for their patronage, while providing those new to the resort with a memorable, relaxing experience in first-class accommodations.
"For the past 45 years, our guests have been able to take advantage of Atwood's golf, tennis, boating, fishing and hiking, not to mention exquisite dining and lake views," said Neil Praznik, general manager of the 104-room lodge. "This year, we've got a package for just about everyone, from golfers to couples to families."
Couples can relax and recharge by taking advantage of the "Perfect Lakeside Bed & Breakfast Package," which includes standard overnight accommodations in the lodge and Atwood's famous breakfast for two adults. Also included is access to Atwood's many amenities including outdoor sporting activities, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, restaurant and lounge. This package is available on weekends through April, then seven days a week May through September.
Atwood has several other packages available for 2010, including summer holiday getaway packages, "Stay and Play" golf packages featuring Atwood's scenic 18-hole regulation golf course, and multi-day packages for Alive 2010, the nationally renowned Christian music festival scheduled June 23-26. This is the first year that neighboring Atwood Lake Park will host Alive, which attracts visitors from throughout the United States.
